The game's theme, while a bit dated, it's not as bad as others. Still, it could've done with a little more of the magic that Betsoft has gotten us used to. It has an Aztec theme, obviously, with the reels placed on some kind of building, and with the jungle seen in the background, behind them. The game's symbols include the warrior, the mask, the headdress with feathers, necklaces and so on. Each of these items has a connection with the theme, with no symbols used that don't belong there in some way. The theme has a soundtrack that is consistent with the design, with tribal music and various sounds that belong in the jungle, like those of wild animals.
The player can bet with 5 coins per payline, for a maximum of 8 paylines, so up to 40 coins can be used. The coin value is up to $1, with the lowest being $0.02. The maximum bet of $40 can result in a progressive jackpot, which is only possible when a max bet is used.
One of the features of the game is the bonus round, which is started once the player gets three gemstones. Each time one of these gems shows up, the Aztec warrior collects it, and when you get three you gain access to the bonus game. It's a decent game, though the graphics would have benefited from some more work. I'd still recommend it if you find the Aztec culture fascinating.
