The theme of Duel in the Deep is based around a nautical theme and all that one would expect to find within it. Duel in the Deep offers up some great features, which is becoming the standard with NuWorks Games. The Swordfish and Sumo fish both act as wilds in Duel in the Deep. Each will match the other symbols with exception to the scatter and will complete any winning combinations. They will also double all wins!
The Scatter symbol is represented by the Shipwreck symbol. This will begin paying out rewards once three or more land in any position on the reels. Getting three will award two times your wager, getting four will award 10 times your wager and landing all five shipwrecks across the reels will result in a win of 200 times your wager.
The Fighting Fish Feature is where the real money lays. Those Sumo Fish and Swordfish serve a duel purpose in Duel in the Deep. Should you find one of each Sumo Fish or Swordfish on reels 1 and 5 you will win be taken to a bonus screen, pick your fish and watch as three rounds of battle takes place. You will be awarded with 5 free spins automatically and an additional 5 free spins plus a multiplier for each round your fish wins. As you start with a 2 times multiplier and 5 free spins it means you are able to win up to 20 free spins with a 5 times multiplier. Any re-trigger will award 5 additional free spins.
There are two progressive jackpots offering in this game. The neat aspect to each is that they include what is called a “Boiling Point" jackpot. This means that both jackpots must be won once they reach a certain amount.
